Movie Review: Parasyte

Movie Review: Parasyte

 Parasyte the Movie:

A 17-yearold teenager named Shinichi lives in the quiet outskirts of Tokyo. It was a peaceful evening for him when he suddenly awaken from his sleep
as a parasite tries to enter to his ears and take over his mind.

The parasite failed to enter his skull since Shinichi is wearing his headphones, instead the parasite tries to penetrate into his arm. He imediately rapped his hands with a bandage or a cloth, stoping the parasite to enter up to him (to his brain).

As the parasite failed on getting thru his mind and taking up his body and mind, as a result the parasite begins to grow to maturity into his arm and take it over,
though Shinichi remains as himself. The shape-shifting parasitic named as "Migi," has no knowledge of where it came from given that the parasites are essentially mindless pre-infection, but rapidly picks up human language and knowledge as Shinichi is forced to develop an uneasy coexistence with it and hide its presence.

Meanwhile, he comes into contact with several other "fully grown" members of Migi's kind who appear to be wreaking havoc on the surrounding areas.

Parasyte is a Japanese movie that is originated from its manga version. Parasyte: the maxim. Somehow the movie version insulted the avid readers of the manga version of Parasyte. The fans said that some important scene or part from the book was not in the movie. It didn't reach their expectations.

Inside: Jon Santos

Inside: Jon Santos

Inside: Jon Santos

A comedian aims to spoof Charice, Anne, Vilma, Nanay Dionisya, Pnoy and the whole nation. We can already call him the spoof lord of the Philippines because, everyone can spoof someone but Jon only can spoof someone that 85% of what he looks will never be seen once he portrayed someone in the stage, and he got the sense and the importance's of what a viewer should know. Informative, revolutionary, and entertaining at the same time.
"Ever since I’ve entered the comedy profession, I’ve always preferred small venues. Yun ang nakasanayan ko
na."
- Rappler.com

"My specialty is political satire na scripted, memorized,
and rehearsed. Unlike sa mga shows nga ng tulad ni Vice Ganda, spontaneous lang siya. Yun kasi ang crowd niya."

Dressed and high-heels on . Spoofing is his way to inform and talk with people about the social issues in our country. It is also his way to express his feelings, not only his feelings but also what everyone feels. He speaks for the people, the thoughts that an ordinary man can't talk, in tagalog. (Tikom ang mga bibig.) A deep thought, I can't explain it further.

Who is John Santos?

We only know him by name, by his profession, and by the social issues that he's been pointing on his spoofs. Jon Santos is Jon Santos. Some might see him as a high-class person because of his proffession and the big projects comming up to him, but the truth is he was just him.

A simple person who has the vision of informing people from the social issues, opening their minds, and letting them to know what they should know and speak-up for them selves.

A simple person who knows how to love.

A simple lover, and being loved by the people around him.

A Tito to his niece.

A Wife to his thoughtful Husband.

A Teacher for everyone.

Jon Santos is one of the Artist/Comedian that you can approach easily. You need a guidance? He'll guide you. You want to know him? He's open for everyone to get to know him. You want to learn and open your mind about the political issues? He'll tell you what you supposed to know, the good once, the negatives, and the solutions you have to know tho in a different way. By spoofing, more creative and more interesting to hear.

"You should know your crowd."

"You should know your crowd kasi iba ang jokes na pang-Makati at iba rin for those who go to comedy bars. I can’t handle a very big crowd of people kasi iba-iba na gusto ng mga ‘yan ." - Rappler.com

APC ANTI-SMOKING CAMPAIGN: Burn, Sick, Kills

APC ANTI-SMOKING CAMPAIGN: Burn, Sick, Kills

DID YOU KNOW THAT...
"If you won't give up smoking for your lungs, heart or throat, maybe you'll do it for your penis."

1. Did you know that there's a valve in your penis that traps the blood inside do you can get an erection? That every time you smoke, this valve is damaged? That if you don't quit now, it might stop working altogether? I bet you don't want to get your shafts smaller than a 4 year old boy.

 2. Smokers are more likely to get spots. Smoking weakens the skin's blood circulation, which increases the risk of infections. Smokers' acne is more difficult than usual.

3. A yellow smile reveals the smokers. The discoloration is caused by tar getting stuck in the cracks of tooth enamel. Smoking and using snuff can cause oral cancer.

4. Smoking causing nine out of ten lung cancer cases. The risk of getting lung cancer increases the earlier you start to smoke, the longer you smoke and the more you smoke.

5. Smoking mothers. The chemicals from the cigarette travel unfiltered along umbilical cord straight to the fetus. This si how unborn child is exposed to even bigger levels of dangerous chemicals than the mother

"Hitler led the first and most powerful anti smoking campaign during 1930s and early 1940s. Smoker Nazis!"
